Objects of bygone value, half shredded and de-constructed. Each object conveyed a sense of transition from usefulness to waste back to raw material. It was designed to be quite shocking and confronting to provoke people to question their own accountability for society’s waste streams.

This installation was part of the Polymer Dreams Lab open evening exhibition consisting of a series of four rooms of exhibits opening out to a courtyard and workshop area. The intention was to inspire the community and explore issues, values and desires connected to the challenge of creating a sustainable future.
